UX/UI Designer

Salary: £25,000—35,000 + benefits. Location: Gloucestershire (Permanent). Reference BBBH1290

Our prestigious, rapidly growing and evolving client based in the heart of the Cotswolds is currently looking for a UX/UI Designer to complement their current creative design team. In return you can expect a salary of £25 – 35K plus benefits such as a pension scheme, healthcare, regular training opportunities and a friendly, creative office environment and the opportunity to work in beautiful historic surroundings.

Your everyday activities could include:
*Working with their Creative and UX manager to create and evolve new visual solutions
*Taking designs from conceptual wire framing through to a finished visual
*Design of the UI focusing on beautiful layouts with intuitive usability
*Creating intuitive customer journeys that delight customers
*Working collaboratively in our multi-disciplinary agile based teams
*Maintaining brand & visual consistency across the website
*Ensuring all designs work within a responsive framework
*Providing detailed specifications for handover to scrum teams
*Ensuring designs are implemented as documented with pixel perfection
*Research including high level competitor analysis, user journeys and flows

Who they are looking for:
The ideal candidate will be able to bring their own unique style to complement and add to the existing team. They will be looking for someone who knows the best way to tackle sticky problems by remaining agile and who understands the difference between the various design and development processes, while not following any practice religiously. You should be the type of person who is always interested in picking up new things that make you a better designer and communicator, someone who does their best work within multi-disciplined teams, knows that shared understanding is their secret and by nature you share your ideas with colleagues and peers and love to see your ideas adapt and evolve as a result of constructive criticism.
