Marketing Officer

Salary: £25,000—25,000. Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (Contract). Reference BBBH1412

A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Officer with experience of multi-channel marketing to join the communications and marketing department of a leading Gloucestershire organisation. This is a full time contract role until July 2017, offers a salary of up to £25K pa pro rata, and will require a willingness to work away from home and outside normal working hours on occasions.

Principal responsibilities and functions include taking lead responsibility for the organisation’s specific marketing needs involving some of the following key tasks and responsibilities:
-Managing and delivering projects from creative brief to delivered outputs, including obtaining design, print and media quotes from a roster of agencies.
-Providing specialist marketing advice and guidance to project leaders and corporate clients whilst demonstrating knowledge of a range of communication channels.
-Developing and delivering creative, integrated marketing campaigns using all channels available.
-Coordinating the production of a range of corporate and departmental publications and web content including the management of entries, copywriting, editing and proofreading copy; coordinating and attending photographic sessions and liaising with key partners in the process.
-Managing the production of company prospectuses and coordination of a variety of events.
-Providing accurate, engaging and well presented content on the company website.
-Commissioning/delivering multimedia content (copy, filming, digital photography).
-Developing management reports to demonstrate value for money from all campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a Marketing Qualification (CIM) being of advantage. You should also have experience of working within a multi-channel marketing role in a large and complex organization, ideally from within the education sector. We’ll be looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels, someone who is able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and a good eye for detail.
