A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events and Subscriptions Manager to join our highly successful client based in North Gloucestershire. Working within the Marketing and Communications department as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the organisation’s membership group in order to deliver optimal benefits to the members as well as maximise any potential business development opportunities for the company through the members group.
This will essentially entail acting as the technical secretary for the members group, disseminating company information and developments as required and appropriate in order to keep the members informed of latest developments. It will also involve keeping the relevant websites up to date, producing regular marketing collateral such as newsletters, brochures and leaflets, production of audio and video content, setting up of informative webinars, management of the company’s social media channels, handling media enquiries and arranging events and conferences for the members.
A key part of the role will involve effective communication and networking with internal colleagues and departments as well as the members themselves and we are therefore looking for a candidate with excellent people and networking skills and very good spoken and written communications skills across all levels. We’ll also be looking for the ability to clearly communicate technical and commercial data with a language tailored to specific audiences. You will need to be well organised, with a good eye for detail and ideally come with experience of membership and events management.
This is a full time and permanent opportunity on offer for a salary of between £24 – 30K pa, dependant on experience. Do get in touch for further information or to discuss your application.
