Press Officer – part time – 28 hrs per week – £25K pa pro rata plus attractive company benefits
Our client, a prolific, Not for Profit organisation based in the North Cotswolds is seeking an experienced, dynamic and proactive Press Officer to join their marketing team on a part time basis, working 28 hours per week. This is an exciting time for our client as they are operating within a market which has recently been experiencing heightened awareness. With new developments in the pipeline this role will be instrumental in developing the organisations’ media relations strategy and its proactive implementation at an important time.
The successful candidate will be an experienced PR Officer used to dealing with issue-based content, with proven in-house or agency side experience, strong social media skills and solid knowledge of current PR techniques and best practice. As an integral member of the marketing team you will be providing input not only for use within the media environment but also across all content produced, including journals, newsletters, speeches and social media. The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key, and you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. We’ll be looking for someone with a highly motivated approach, a dynamic and confident team player with a drive to succeed and ideally a degree in PR, journalism, marketing or communications or other relevant field.
