Data Team Leader
Salary: £27,000—30,000 + benefits. Location: Gloucestershire (Permanent). Reference BBBH1262
We have an exciting new role for a Data Team Leader to join our prestigious client in Gloucestershire. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the running of the data team comprising Data Audit, Data Intelligence and Data Development, in return for a salary of £27 – 30K plus an annual bonus and benefits including private medical insurance and a contributory pension scheme.
Key responsibilities of the role are to provide management, leadership, guidance and support for the Data Team. You will be the first point of contact for its members, managing holidays and absences, encouraging good collaboration within the team and ensuring tasks are completed effectively and on time. To achieve positive results you will be required to manage and allocate work appropriately to the team members, monitor performance and hold weekly huddles to discuss upcoming tasks and celebrate achievements. You will be involved in organizing the recruitment process for new Data Team members as well as establish and arrange training for new or existing members of the Team to ensure the team is well trained and kept up to date with all new developments. You will also be responsible for queries relating to data compliance and for establishing processes, standards and guidelines for the team to be aware of and adhere to.
The successful candidate for this role will ideally have a background within the financial services industry as well as a proven track record of managing a team. Knowledge of data compliance standards would be a plus. In addition you will have excellent communication skills with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise.
