Data Engineer

Salary: £18,000—22,000 + benefits. Location: Gloucestershire (Permanent). Reference BBBH1431

An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join our award winning client based in the heart of the Cotswolds. The successful candidate will be a bright and enthusiastic individual, passionate about working with data and knowledgeable in the use of SQL server (2005, 2008, 2012).

Reporting to the Senior Data Engineer the main purpose of the role will be to ensure our client’s operation of database services is carried out as per their agreed service levels and that data quality procedures are adhered to at all times.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of work from within a similar role. A computer science degree or similar and an understanding of ESPs and database extraction tools such as fast-stats would be of advantage. We’ll be looking for someone with the relevant technical knowledge who can produce quality work to high levels of accuracy.

This is a full time and permanent role on offer for a salary of between £18 – 22K plus a range of excellent benefits.
