Congratulations to local PRide nominees in upcoming South of England CIPR awards

The annual PRide awards 2014 – a chance for the PR sector to spend a little time promoting its own. Tuxedos and little black dresses should be prepared for the 21st Nov this year for many local agencies competing against other agencies across the South of England.

At Creative Mettle, we’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate the many Gloucestershire and Bristol nominees who’ve made the shortlist. Stand up Silver Ball, Leapfrog PR, 10 Yetis and Inside Media to name just a few, as well as Gloucestershire County Council’s in-house team.

Nominees have had to impress the judges amongst entries sent in from Cornwall to Kent; Gloucestershire competes in the CIPR South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards. With so many local creative teams that could take the title, this is a real positive reflection of the leading creative work being done throughout Gloucestershire, Bristol and the Cotswolds.

10 Yetis could already win a prize, in our humble opinion, for the most intriguing nomination title for a consumer campaign – ‘The Naked Sledding World Championship 2014’. Elsewhere, Gloucestershire County Council is nominated for the work during the floods in 2014 as well as the whole team as for ‘outstanding In-house public relations team of the year’. Cheltenham-based Leapfrog PR has been nominated in the category of ‘Best Use of Social Media’ as the awards reflect all the varied disciplines that a PR executive needs to cover. Over in Bristol, Inside Media also have several nominations. To see the complete shortlist, take a look at the details on the Chartered Institute of Public Relations website.

Good luck to all from the team at Creative Mettle – we’ll be keeping an eye out for the results. Get the champagne ready for the 21st Nov.
